I am currently looking for multiple undergraduate and Ph.D. students to conduct cutting-edge research on the following topics: (1) Extreme-Scale Optical Computing, (2) In-Memory Computing, (3) Stochastic Computing, and (4) Silicon Photonic Interconnects. I am looking for students with the one or more of the following skill set:

• programming with one or more of the following: C/C++/Python/SystemC/VHDL/Verilog

• deep machine learning

• computer architecture design

• nanofabrication (e.g., CMOS, silicon and/or III-V photonics)

• proficiency in verbal and written communication
